Shanghai Watch Factory's early tongji movements were very well made, and they appear to be of a higher quality than some of the factory's later standard movements. Early 7120 models, like this one, had a caseback unlike most 7120s. It is similar to the 1524's. The date code on the movement is BB (February 1975).
