Jinji (golden rooster) was a Shanghai Watch Factory grade 3 brand. It may have been a way for the factory to sell watches which didn't meet the standards of its grade 1 models. The rose gold accents are beautiful, and the logo is delightful. The model number on the caseback is the same as its Shanghai brand grade 1 counterpart, except it has an added J. In addition to the GA (January 1980) date code, the movement has a '付' (fu) marking, indicating that it is flawed but still good enough for sale.
