Mingxing

Mingxing (bright star) was the brand of one of Dandong's smaller watch factories, Dandong City Mingxing Watch Factory. Unlike the products of most of these small factories which contain movements manufactured by Liaoning Watch Factory, this example has a ZSY movement from Shenyang. The caseback appears to have been recast, as there are visible remnants of presumably earlier Baihua (Shenyang Watch Factory's major brand) markings.
