Kongque was Liaoning Watch Factory's top brand in the 1980s and 1990s. Chinese automatic watches with double calendar were very uncommon until Liaoning and Shanghai started producing them in the 1980s. The day window is small on this model, showing it was intended for the domestic market. It has quick-set date, but not day. The movement dates to July 1992.
