Suzhou produced watches with tongji movements beginning in 1975. This blue dial model was produced by one of its associated factories, Zhiqing Clock & Watch Components Factory. Zhiqing is a term referring to educated young people who left the cities to assume peasant lives. The movement is marked ZSZ-17-AI. Above this is a triangle with a dot at its centre.
